PPTFH Community Meeting | Pacific Palisades
The Pacific Palisades Task Force on Homelessness will host an online community meeting Monday, November 15, from 7 to 8:15 p.m. on the topic of state and federal funding for issues related to homelessness.
Featuring guest speaker Congressmember Ted Lieu, the discussion is slated to tackle questions such as “how will the fund be allocated to various needs, such as mental health, shelters, short-term housing and permanent housing?” according to information provided by PPTFH.
The meeting will also address topics such as what the situation is at the VA campus among other questions community members may have on how funding will be allocated and utilized to assist in improving the conditions of homelessness.

Enoteca 5 Wine Tasting | The Village
Enoteca 5, an Italian-inspired wine bar operated by CinqueTerre WEST Osteria on Monument Street, will host a FIRRIATO Wine Tasting experience on November 16.
The event is part of Enoteca’s wine membership program, which opened November 1 and runs $65 per month, for a minimum of six months.
The tasting will feature Gaudensius (Sparkling Nerello Mascalese), Le Sabbie Del’Etna, Etna Bianco, Le Sabbie Del’Etna, Santagostino (Nero d’Avola / Syrah), Etna Rosso and Ribeca (Perricone).

Theatre Palisades Youth Auditions | Pacific Palisades
Theatre Palisades Youth announced it will conduct its 2022 winter auditions for the musical “Singing in the Rain” on Thursday, November 11, and Saturday, November 20, at Pierson Playhouse.
“Singing in the Rain” is a 1952 musical that follows Don Lockwood, a big screen movie star who falls in love with Kathy, a chorus girl during a tumultuous time, transitioning from the silent films to the talkies.
Directed by Lara Ganz and Nathan Heldman, rehearsals begin January 8. TPY requested those who audition to have a one-minute song prepared from a Broadway or Disney musical and to “be prepared to do a cold reading,” according to the flyer. Auditioners should wear dancing clothes and no open-toed shoes (tap shoes if possible).
Auditions will take place on November 11 between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. and November 20 between 1:30 and 5:30 p.m.

Allied Artists Paint-Out | Will Rogers State Beach
Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains & Seashore will host a paint-out at Will Rogers State Beach on November 13.
For the past 20 years, Allied Artists has worked to promote the environmental preservation of Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area using fine art to foster appreciation and bring nature-loving artists together.
The class will be led by “accomplished watercolorist” instructor Timothy Kitz with a demonstration beginning at 9 a.m.
