The Palisadian-Post is a subscription-based publication dedicated to original, compelling reporting on Pacific Palisades and its developments since the paper was founded in 1928.
Editorial Internships
The Post offers a variety of internships each year: spring, summer and fall/winter. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone with journalism ambitions and/or experience. The intern will spend their time reporting and writing stories, supported by our editorial team, as well as proofreading the paper and assisting with events/newspaper-related tasks.
If you are looking to gain valuable media experience, you’ve come to the right place! Candidates must be able to generate ideas and source up, work under deadlines, and possess excellent computer, communication and organizational skills. Interns receive practical experience in critical reading, research, fact checking and the general workings of a newsroom.
2025-26 Internships
We are now accepting applications for internships that begin between fall 2025 and summer 2026. If interested, email your name, school/grade (if a student), a couple of paragraphs about your interest and experience with journalism, and two writing samples (ideally non-fiction) to mypost@palipost.com. Questions can also be directed to that email address.
Junior Reporter Program
The Post also offers a Junior Reporter program, geared toward writers in first through 12th grade who are interested in submitting pieces throughout the year.
Once added to the Junior Reporter roster, Junior Reporters are welcome to submit pitches and pieces at any time they are ready, and will also be added to our quarterly call for stories, which includes four to five timely prompts to respond to.
To receive a Junior Reporter application, email mypost@palipost.com.
