Blake made a triumphant return from his 14-game layoff by recording 24 points, six rebounds, six assists and one steal in 32 minutes to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 121-106 victory over the archrival Lakers last Friday night at Staples Center. The Riviera resident was seeing his first NBA action since spraining his left knee in the fourth quarter of the Clippers’ Nov. 27 win against the Lakers. Blake added 25 points, seven rebounds and six assists in Sunday’s 106-98 victory over Charlotte. A five-time All-Star, Blake entered Tuesday’s contest against Memphis averaging 23.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game this season.
