After announcing three restaurants—The Draycott, Hank’s and Porta Via Palisades—the latest tenant to join Rick Caruso’s Palisades Village is back to fashion.
Vince, a global luxury apparel and accessories brand, will have a two-level shop in the project, due to open Sept. 22.
The brand was established in 2002, and offers women and men’s clothing, shoes and handbags. The company currently operates 44 retail stores, as well as 14 outlet stores and an online shop.
Headquartered in New York and operating a design studio in Los Angeles, Vince has locations in Caruso’s other projects, including The Promenade at Westlake in Westlake Village and The Grove.
The two closest locations currently are in Malibu at the Country Mart and in Venice on Abbot Kinney Boulevard.
The store will “reflect the understated California-inspired design aesthetic of Vince Creative Director Caroline Belhumeur through the use of inviting architectural details, custom plant installations and mid-century modern decor,” a press release reported.
The Palisades Village location will feature a large terrace, circular stucco staircase and reflection pool, which Vince hopes will bring elements of nature indoors for a “luxuriously serene shopping experience.”
In its online store, Vince offers a range of pieces, including women’s tees from $65 to $165 and men’s sweaters from $225 to $395.
Vince will open two stores before the end of 2018: the Palisades location as well as The Domain in Austin, Texas, slated to open in late June. The stores join three additional locations that have opened this year.
Other clothing stores that will open in the development include A.L.C., Zimmerman and Carbon38.
