Earlier this month, Fox 11’s show “Midday Sunday” focused on New Directions for Veterans (NDVets), an organization that offers services to thousands of veterans in Los Angeles County.
Featured on the show’s segment was Palisadian and Interim CEO of NDVets Ted Howells to discuss the organization and its mission. Howells was also joined by a member of the NDVets’ board of directors, Rudy Grimaldo, and two program graduates. All four men who made guest appearances are veterans.
The graduates shared how unique NDVets services are, and how they felt a great sense of camaraderie with the other members and facilitators.
Most recently, NDVets partnered with the Glendale Housing Authority and developers to unveil “Veteran’s Village,” a $20 million housing complex in the city of Glendale, which opened early this month.
