The Malibu Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce hosted a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony for Palisades Village eatery ROCA Pizza on Wednesday evening, April 26.
Those who attended were invited to dine on samples of ROCA’s menu, which offers an “elevated fast-casual interpretation of Roman-style street food pizza.” It is the creation of Rick Rosenfield, a co-founder of California Pizza Kitchen, and his wife, Esther.
“It’s great to be here and to see everybody come out for our grand opening today,” Rick shared following the cutting of the ribbon. “It’s amazing for us to be here. As people have said, we could not have picked a better spot—not only in Los Angeles but in America—to showcase ROCA Pizza.”
The restaurant, which is located in the development on Swarthmore in a space previously occupied by SunLife Organics, welcomed customers in the beginning of March.
