The Palisades High boys tennis team is off to a fast and hopes to keep its momentum going when it heads north to the California Classic hosted by Buchanan High in Clovis.
The Dolphins are in the Division I draw and face Consumnes, De La Salle and Turlock in Group 2 Friday. Semifinals and finals are Saturday.
Palisades opened the season with a 9-9 tie against Brentwood, then defeated Santa Monica 14-4, edged Loyola 10-8 and beat Geffen Academy 14-4 in the debut for No. 3 singles player Aidan Adham.
“It’s a nice group of kids, we’ve got more depth than we’ve had in the past and a lot of parity, which makes for competition for starting spots,” Coach Bud Kling said.
