Shutters on the Beach and Hotel Casa del Mar are inviting Palisadians to create new holiday-time traditions with friends, family and loved ones with the debut of dining and spa experiences—all offered on the Santa Monica beach.
ONE Spa at Shutters and Sea Wellness Spa at Casa will both offer holiday-inspired treatments like the Comfort & Joy Swedish Massage and Holiday Bliss Body Scrub.
The massage treatment, an either 60- or 90-minute experience, promises to leave guests with muscles relaxed, tension relieved and the body at ease.
The Holiday Bliss Body Scrub will reinvigorate skin with a full body Lalicious Peppermint body scrub and rejuvenating massage. The detoxifying treatment creates a lasting exfoliating effect, gently restoring skin to leave a radiant and glowing complexion.
Also offered at ONE Spa is a Sparkle for the Holidays Manicure & Pedicure, which features a cleansing body oil bubble bath, followed by a sugar scrub and body butter cleanse. Guests have the choice of three holiday-themed scents: peppermint, creamy eggnog and buttered rum.
Both locations will also offer special holiday 2018 dining experiences.
Those who visit Catch at Hotel Casa del Mar can enjoy prix-fix Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners, featuring menu items like iberico ham and manchego cheese foam with crusted tomato and warm bread, followed by entrees including roasted duck with blueberry sauce and passion fruit glaze.
1 Pico at Shutter on the Beach offers Christmas Eve and Day dinners, as well as a Christmas morning brunch. Prix-fix menu options include roasted duck with farro, butternut squash and black truffle, and spaghetti with Vermont butter and perigord black truffles.
Brunch includes lobster chowder and whole lobster benedict.
If that’s not tempting enough, Shutters on the Beach debuted a beachfront Cocoa Bar—serving up Spiked Hot Cocoa and Hot Toddy’s. The pop-up bar will remain open through Jan. 1, 2019.
