A $7.4 million chalet-style residency in the Riviera—previously owned by actress and model Brooke Shields—was recently purchased by actor Sam Page and his wife Cassidy Elliott.
Known for his roles in holiday and rom-coms on the Hallmark Channel, Page sold his former 1950s-style Palisades home for an asking price of $4 million—earning the couple over $1 million in profit since purchasing the house nearly three years ago.
A modern farm-like house, the 2,815-square-foot estate was built in 1950, is surrounded by canyon and mountain views, and set on a quarter-acre parcel of land full of lush greenery.
In an interview with Architectural Digest, Elliot shared how much the outside surroundings impressed her.
“The outside garden was so pretty and the home itself kind of looks like a big tree house with wooden shingles and lots of greenery,” Elliot said. “Luckily, though the interiors were not move-in ready, the 2002 home did not require a down-to-the-studs renovation.”
Now, the couple is upsizing to Shields’ former home—which was listed at $8.2 million and reduced in price upon its sale.
Nestled behind a gated driveway, this 1983, nearly half-acre parcel also has sprawling canyon and mountain views. The five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms stretch across 5,300 square feet of living space with high, wood-beam whitewashed ceilings and dark Douglas fir hardwood floors.
The penthouse-style main level has a fireplace placed in a spacious living room with large windowed walls that open to a wrap-around terrace, which offers views of the nearby mountains. Outside, the grounds, filled with greenery, have a freeform pool and spa, as well as an area for entertaining and al fresco dining.
The main-room has a large walk-in closet, dressing rooms, a makeup vanity, a luxurious bath with soaking tub and sauna, and a separate balcony with views of the Getty Center.
The home includes four additional bedrooms on the lower level, accompanied by a game room, wet bar and large media room.
Coldwell Banker Realty agents, Albert Sousa and Jade Mills, served as the listing agent, with Cody Garcia from The Agency serving as Page’s representative.
