REVIEW: Bellagio Nails & Spa

The smell of lavender fills my nose as I walk into the room. Pictures of flowers and butterflies of all different colors brighten up the white walls. It looks modern and refreshing.

Bottles of colorful nail polish fill three different walls. They range from pinks to reds to purples to blues and every other color you can think of.  The first wall near the door has three shelves of organic nail polish. They shine the same, look the same and have the same colors as every other one, but these nail polishes are made with organic ingredients.

The big difference between normal and organic nail polish is that organic nail polish has no chemicals.

Finally, after five minutes of debating, I decided to choose two classic colors – a shiny red for my manicure and a very light pink for my toes.

The manager and the owner of the salon showed me their disinfectant area where they sterilize every single tool so that no two customers use the same tools. The nail files and buffers come in new packages for everyone. If you’re worried about fungus or other disease that can be contracted from unsanitary tools, Bellagio nails rids everyone of that fear. Trust me, I knew it was safe.

Bellagio Nails moved to the upstairs slot in the center where blockbuster video used to be just two months ago, and they are already a hit.

After I chose my colors, I sat down on a spa chair with pillows that were squishy and comfy. It made me feel right at home. The spa chairs had little tubs at the end where hot water came from a shower like dispenser.

The technician buffed, scrubbed and cleaned my toes and cuticles until they looked as good as new. It felt so good. But nothing could prepare my senses for the lavender scented salt scrub. The smell was amazing.

Demi, the woman who massaged my arms and calves with the scrub explained that it was to exfoliate the skin. As I looked over at the tub of sea salt, I noticed that the lotions, salt scrub and everything else on the table are organic. Who knew organic stuff could be so good?

After they washed off the exfoliator, my skin feels smooth as silk. Then they paint. You know what? It looked fantastic. The organic polishes looked great and the two women working on my nails were really nice and very complimentary.

I decided to add a design to my shiny red manicure – something else to give it a pop. When Demi explained that customers often bring in photos of intricate designs they want replicated, I knew my options were limitless. I settled on adding two little watermelons on each of my ring fingers. They look fantastic!

After my polish was finished, my mani-pedi was finished with lotion and a massage that felt so good I didn’t want to leave. Thank you Bellagio Nails for the best mani-pedi. I can’t wait to come back.
