The planet is on the brink of a catastrophic alien invasion and it’s up to a group of high school misfits to save the world from total annihilation. That’s right ’90s babies, your favorite color-coordinated superheroes—the “Power Rangers”—are back.
For those without children—or those who dwelled under rocks throughout the entirety of the 1990s—“Power Rangers” was a popular children’s television franchise created by Haim Saban. For this year’s highly anticipated—if only for the nostalgia—reboot, Saban returns as the film’s executive producer.

The film stars Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G and Ludi Lin as the teenaged, alien crime-fighting heroes.
Palisadian Bill Hader cameos as the voice of Alpha 5—a metallic mutating robot who serves as the assistant to the rangers’ mentor, Zordon, an ancient entity played by Bryan Cranston
