Red and Blue in Swing at Field of Dreams

Pride and bragging rights were on the line last weekend when Palisades Red took on Palisades Blue in a two-game Pony Division series at the Field of Dreams.

Pali Red, coached by Brian Grimes, eked out a 6-5 victory  in the first game Friday night and completed the sweep with an 8-3 triumph Saturday afternoon.

Leading Pali Red to victory were Spencer Rodman, James Rockwell, Mason DiLullo, Lucas Brombach, Justin Pack, Gage Grimes, Jivan Girodet, Logan Bailey, Will Andrews, Leo Velez, Declan Forest, Pierce Bergstein and Sam Stern.

Pali Blue, coached by Steve Yi, got contributions from Dylan Ardizzone, Jonah Behar, Brennan Clark, Jack Gargiulo, Ben Leshgold, Andrew Lubliner, Hudson Mangold, Henry Mariscal, Mack Nieman, Harrison Rautbort, Jake Shockley, Oliver Silverman, Thomas Wynperle and Beckett Yi.

Pali Red stayed in second in the standings and improved to 4-2 versus Pali Blue this season. Each team has four games left before playoffs start the week of May 6.
