Celebrity couple Michelle Pfeiffer and David E. Kelley continue to grow roots in Pacific Palisades with a new $22.5 million property purchase that closed on January 17, according to The Real Deal.
Located near The Riviera Country Club, the luxury residence boasts six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms spread out over 10,300 square feet. Substantial renovations expanded the property size to more than twice the previous size when it sold for less than $8 million in 2016.
Cindy Ambuehl at Compass held the listing.
Meanwhile, the couple is in the midst of selling another residence in The Riviera.
In November 2019, the couple listed a Mediterranean-style property for $8.35 million, according to Variety. The couple listed the house a little over a year after purchasing it for $7.7 million in an off-market deal.
A highlight of the property is its expansive views of Santa Monica Canyon and the Pacific Ocean. The 2,870-square-foot, ranch-style residence also sits on a one-third acre parcel with 125 feet of street frontage. Constructed around 1950, the home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and an outdoor swimming pool.
The new Palisades purchase comes on the heels of more real estate sales: The celebrity duo recently sold another home for $9.1 million to Jim Crane, owner of the Houston Astros, according to Variety. The 3,211-square-foot residence has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The couple paid $8.15 million for the home three years ago, according to Variety.
And, in late December 2019, the couple sold their Silicon Valley ranch-style property in Woodside for $22 million. The 6,300-square-foot home was on the market in 2018 for $29.5 million.
Television producer Kelley has won 11 Emmys for TV writing. Pfeiffer is an award-winning actress with three Oscar nominations. Pfeiffer recently launched her sixth fragrance, “Queens & Monsters,” from her fragrance brand, Henry Rose.
