Actor Max Greenfield, well known for his “New Girl” role, and longtime wife Tess Sanchez, Fox Broadcasting VP, recently closed on a Pacific Palisades cottage located steps away from the beach for $1.68 million, according to Variety.
The 1,020-square-foot, single-family Castellammare home, built in 1949, has two bedrooms, one full bath and one partial bath.
“Imagine living close to the beach in the seaside neighborhood of Castellammare and just steps to the sand,” the listing boasts.
The beach home is described as a charming mid-century, which sits above the street with ocean and mountain views. Upon entering the main level’s living area, there are high ceilings, wood floors and windows. It opens to a large deck, perfect for entertaining or relaxing.
“A kitchen with eating bar, fireplace, master bedroom and bath complete the upstairs,” the listing continues. “Downstairs has a large bedroom, full bath, laundry area, closets and one-car garage with direct access.”
The rear area is complete with covered gazebos and lush landscaping, as well as an outdoor spa. Property views include coastline, hills, mountains and the beach.
The pedestrian bridge over Pacific Coast Highway allows for easy access to the Pacific Ocean.
Craig Natvig of Coldwell Banker held the listing and also represented Greenfield and Sanchez, according to Variety.
Greenfield, who has recurring roles in “Veronica Mars” and “Ugly Betty,” won an Emmy for his role of Schmidt in “New Girl.” He has portrayed Dave Johnson in CBS’ “The Neighborhood” since 2018.
