Highlights from the opera ‘Don Pasquale’ by composer Gaetano Donizetti will be performed in a free concert version by the Palisades Symphony Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, at the Palisades Lutheran Church, Sunset at El Medio. Music director Joel B. Lish will conduct. Soloists singing from the comic three-act opera will include Carlos Oliva, bass; Gabriel Manro, baritone; Gabriel Silva, tenor; and Deborah Mayhan, soprano, all of whom have sung leading roles with many opera companies in Southern California and abroad.
