Pali White, one of the Pacific Palisades Baseball Association’s three Pony Division teams, had an impressive outing last Saturday against Cheviot Hills, pounding out 10 hits in a 10-6 victory to improve to 4-1-1.
Coached by Brian Sullivan, Ollie Dunn and Tim McCaffrey, the squad was led offensively by James Min (three hits), Jake McCaffrey (two hits), Jude De Pastino (two hits), Jack Wolf (one hit), Max Meier (one hit) and Jimmy Levy (one hit).
Levy started on the mound and had eight strikeouts in 3.1 innings. Ian Sullivan had two strikeouts in 2.2 innings of relief and Meier added one strikeout in one inning as the closer.
Pali Red entered the week undefeated while Pali Blue remained 2-3-1 after its games were canceled last weekend. The three local teams play in the Cheviot Hills Pony Baseball Association, which also includes four teams from Cheviot Hills, five from Santa Monica and three more from the Wilshire District.
