
Gisela Mueller, a Palisadian for 50 years, shared a photo/watercolor collage, “Roots and Wings,” that she crafted. “We give our children and grandchildren the ‘roots’ to make them strong and fearless,” she wrote, “using their ‘wings’ to fly high and far away. Our families did the same for us.”

The American Cancer Society’s annual California Spirit Food & Wine Benefit—which was hosted virtually in 2020—raised more than $250,000. The event, co-chaired by Palisadians Anthony and Sue Marguleas, featured a gourmet, multi-course meal prepared by Chef Ludo Lefebvre of Trois Mec and Petit Mec. Two-hundred meals were delivered across Los Angeles and Orange counties to guests who sipped on cocktails with Mixologist Charlotte Voisey.


An “immersive exhibition” for “Greyhound,” an Apple Original Film starring Palisadian Tom Hanks, was set up at Palisades Village to highlight elements of the movie’s costume design, sound and score.
