Party Like You Are As Old As Us | Pacific Palisades
The Palisadian-Post will soon be celebrating its 90th birthday.
If you also turn 90 this year, you are invited not only to share your story with us—email the paper at mypost@palipost.com—but also join the Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club 90th Birthday Party celebrations, which will be held on Saturday, June 2.
Last year more than 120 very senior people enjoyed the lunchtime event with cake and champagne and valet parking. This year PPWC organizer Fay Vahdani, of Luxe Homecare, expects there could be more than 150 people hitting the golden number—or higher.

‘Pot Queen’ Home Renovation Gets Green Light | Castellammare
The West Los Angeles Area Planning Commission approved a home renovation project for Palisadian Stephanie Smith, famous after being dubbed in the international media a “pot queen” for business interests in San Bernardino. An elderly neighbor appealed the project for environmental concerns, but failed to appear at a late-evening hearing on Wed April 18. Smith’s home will undergo a dramatic renovation, being transformed from a single story building into a 12,000-square-foot mansion built into the hillside of Puerto Del Mar.
