Get ready to laugh, because former Palisadian Larry David is back for the 10th season of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
The first episode debuted on January 19, with new episodes airing on Sundays.
Originally, the comedy television series, which was created by David starring as a fictionalized version of himself, premiered on October 15, 2000. The plot follows David as a semi-retired television writer and producer, largely in Los Angeles and one season in New York.
Other featured cast members returning are Cheryl Hines who plays David’s ex-wife, Jeff Garlin as his manager and Susie Essman as Jeff’s wife. Richard Lewis plays his long-suffering best friend.
Previous seasons of the show have featured scenes filmed throughout the Palisades, including a home in The Huntington.
Jeff Schaffer, executive producer of the series, initially worked with David on “Seinfeld” as a writer and later as a producer before embarking on “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
Recently, David has been seen playing Bernie Sanders in the television series “Saturday Night Live.”
The series won a Golden Globe in 2002 for Best Television—Musical or Comedy.
Catch up on season 10 on HBO Go and tune in on Sunday, February 8, at 7:30 p.m. for the next episode.
