NatureBridge, an organization devoted to teaching kids about the science and beauty of nature, will hold its second annual Hike-A-Thon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 in Temescal Gateway Park.
This hike, which will raise funds and awareness for environmental education programs in the Santa Monica Mountains, includes games, snacks and prizes. The hike is free, but if you are an adult and raise or donate $100 or are under 18 and raise or donate $50 you will receive a T-shirt.
