500 block of Palisades Dr, August 20 at 9:30 a.m. The suspect took victim’s vehicle from a parking lot.
BURGLARY/THEFT FROM VEHICLE
Temescal Canyon/Sunset, August 20 between 6:45 and 8:30 a.m. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a wallet and money.
1300 Avenida De Cortez, between August 16 at 8 p.m. and August 17 at 2:30 p.m. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took clothing.
THEFT
14800 block Pacific Coast Hwy, August 12 at 9:01 p.m. The suspect (male NFD) entered victim’s business, took alcoholic beverages and fled without paying.
16600 block of Marquez Ave, August 12 at 11:42 a.m. The suspect, pretending to be a DWP worker, tricked the victim into giving him $1,000 in gift cards over the phone.
15300 Antioch, August 17 at 3:45 p.m. The suspect (a 20-year-old female white, blond hair brown eyes, 5’7” 125 lb., with a tattoo of a feather on her foot) concealed a pair of shoes in her purse while trying on clothes in an Elyse Walker dressing room. The women left the store and walked to the Village Starbucks where she was eventually confronted by a store associate. The woman was asked to return the shoes, but instead fled the area in a white Toyota.
VANDALISM
400 block of Arno Way, between August 14 at 10 p.m. and August 15 at 6 a.m. The suspect smashed the rear window and scratched the paint on victim’s vehicle.
17000 block Avenida De Santa Ynez, August 17 at 9:30 a.m. The suspect smashed flower pots and solar lights at victim’s property.
DUI
Pacific Coast Hwy/Sunset, August 16 at 10:55 p.m. A 26-year-old male was arrested for DUI during a DUI task force.

SCHOOL GROUNDS
15700 block of Bowdoin, August 18 at 10:30 a.m. A 15-year-old male was arrested for possession of a knife on school property.
