Palisades resident Bill Harvey passed away September 3. He would have been 93 on November 2.
Bill was born in Santa Monica and was one of the first babies born in Santa Monica hospital.
Bill moved to Pacific Palisades with his wife Dolores in 1978. He retired from SoCal Edison after 35 years. He and Dolores enjoyed traveling, especially cruising. Dolores passed in 1999.
Bill was a WWII Navy veteran and an active member of the American Legion and Past Commander at the Pacific Palisades Post 283 in 1994-1995. He was known as Twinkle Toes and he was usually one of the first on the dance floor at so many of the events at the legion.
Bill leaves his daughter, Jeannine, granddaughter Tamara, son-in-law Sean Tillett, great-grandsons Jeremy, Timothy and Aleck, as well as three great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be held October 19 at 11 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church in the Palisades with reception at the American Legion.
