PPCC Support
Please donate to the Pacific Palisades Community Council, and help keep us strong as we work to represent the voice of the Palisades!
PPCC is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization which receives no financial support from any agency and is entirely dependent on voluntary contributions from the Palisades community to sustain its operating expenses. If you would like to add your support to the Council, please visit pacpalicc.org/index.php/ppcc-donation-form.
We appreciate all who have already contributed this year, and we thank those of you who may just be learning about PPCC and choose to support us with a donation now!
What is PPCC and what do we do?
PPCC is the most broad-based organization in Pacific Palisades—representing the community for 47 years.
Founded in 1973, PPCC is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that provides a forum for the discussion of community issues, and advocates to government and private agencies on those issues where there is broad community agreement.
PPCC is one of the oldest volunteer organizations of its type in the city and served as a model for the current Neighborhood Council system.
PPCC’s board includes elected area representatives from all residential neighborhoods of the Palisades; an elected at-large representative; and representatives appointed by important community organizations. The PPCC Board holds two public meetings a month for most of the year and considers a broad range of matters of community concern. Specific meeting dates and meeting agendas are posted on the PPCC website: pacpalicc.org.
Interested persons are invited to browse through this website to learn more about PPCC’s work and the types of issues it tackles on a regular basis. More information about our recent meeting discussions and actions can be found on the Recaps page.
PPCC is also proud to sponsor the annual Citizen of the Year and Golden Sparkplug Awards, and from time to time bestows special Pride of the Palisades honors. These accolades are presented to deserving citizen volunteers who are recognized at PPCC’s annual December Holiday Meeting & Awards celebration.
Please contact info@pacpalicc.org if you’d like more information or wish to be added to our email list for receipt of notices and agendas.
