A free concert featuring music by Mozart and Benjamin Britten, conducted by James Vail, will be presented at 4 p.m. on June 10 at the Palisadian Presbyterian Church, corner of El Medio and Sunset. The program centers on three works of Mozart: The much-beloved Concerto in C Major for Piano and Orchestra (No. 21), featuring the acclaimed young Russian-American pianist, Kirill Gliadkovsky; the popular ‘Exsultate, jubilate’ (which ends with the famous ‘Alleluia’) for soprano and orchestra, sung by Mariana Ramirez; and the Missa brevis in D Major, performed by the church’s choir, soloists and orchestra. Works by Britten include the Te Deum in C for choir and organ, and a group of his arrangements for solo voice and piano of English and Irish folksongs, sung by tenor Jonathan Mack and baritone Kevin Dalbey.
