A beaten-up black car parked nearly outside the Garden Café had an obscene word sticker on it. Surely the police can do something about this?

Chicken

Junior Reporter Jared Hamm’s article about his quest for great fried chicken was fabulous! So engaging, well written, he had me craving fried chicken and anticipating his taste test. Well done, Jared!

Praising the President

Not scared (2 Cents: What are right-wingers afraid of?) but definitely angry. The Paris Climate Accord was not in this country’s best interest. This country has become a laughing stock. That has been common knowledge for the last eight years. Remember, that was the time we had a non-leader leader. With President Trump “America First” means government is not responsible for everything and these international programs where the U.S. pays 60 percent will no longer be tolerated. Businesses need to be responsible for climate and environmental issues and people should pick up their own trash. We cannot police the whole world. We are so lucky to have such a strong president.

Intrusive

Why did you people telephone the father of the man who died in the police siege? That was rude, insensitive and not like the Pali-Post of old. Other local papers refuse to print bad news why do you?

I suppose you are going to run a big picture of David and Victoria Beckham hiking above the Palisades over the weekend, another sign of your declining celebrity-obsessed newspaper morals. (Editor’s note: No. We did not get a picture.)
