I will never understand why that guy insists on using a disabled parking spot at the Pali park every time he parks for his tennis game. Seems like just another self-entitled jerk in PP.
I got stuck behind a tourist bus up in Amalfi, just inventing names and addresses of people who live up there. I do not even think that Keanu Reeves has ever lived in the Palisades, although he may have spent time in Topanga. If I was those tourists I would be asking for my money back.
The car-ripping shard is back on PCH, just after you turn left from Chautauqua. Am I allowed to thank the unfortunate who sliced it clean away (at the expense of their paintwork, I am sure)? And also, those yellow plastic flipper flapper things down the middle of the road—knocked flat, too. And yet Caltrans does not seem to learn from design errors—a definition of madness.
I know there are fewer Ryderz on a Wednesday night down Sunset, but I have seen speeding motorcycles from other gangs taking their place, judging by their jackets. Or are these Ryderz in disguise?
I have heard from a friend up in the Valley that the Ryderz are finding other ways to rumble and ride up there. One has even put a sound-baffler on his rice rocket bike. Could this be a sound of silence to come? I hope so.
Highlands neighbor, thanks for trying to cool the block by leaving your refrigerator outside for the past three weeks. Now maybe you can call and have it disposed of? Obviously, the regular trash pick-up is not taking it.
The owners of the former Jack in the Box on Sunset should be embarrassed with how they let that place go. What did Jack ever do to you?
