Palisades High girls soccer player Zoe Capanna has committed to Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York and will compete for the Hawks in the Empire 8 Conference in NCAA Division III next season.
Capanna made varsity as a freshman and helped the Dolphins reach the City Section finals. As a sophomore, she earned All-Western League first team honors and was the Palisadian-Post’s “Will to Win” Award recipient at Pali High’s team banquet. She tallied six goals in 14 games at midfield last season and will be a senior captain in 2016-17.
Capanna has played her entire club career with Santa Monica United starting in 2009 on the G98 Bronze team. In 2014, she guested for Albion White OC, which won the Albion Cup. Capanna currently plays for Santa Monica United’s G98 Premier squad.
