Breaks
I hope everybody is really taking the time to care for themselves and their families. There is so much going on around us lately that I’ve found it helpful to take time away from social media and to stop constantly refreshing the news. Stay informed, but there’s no need to overwhelm yourself.
Fires
I hope that the fires around us act as a reminder to always be vigilant and smart about our choices! It’s insane what can spark an extended wildfire and how its effects go beyond just its surrounding areas.
Crowds
Let’s all get this rate of transmission DOWN, stop crowding spaces and keep wearing your masks!!!
Hair
Since Governor Gavin Newsom auntie Nancy can get her hair done in San Francisco I demand equity for my hairdresser in Pacific Palisades.
Walks
Everybody is out on a walk up in the Hills but why are they walking in the middle of the road which is a problem because that’s where I drive. It’s great to get fresh air and exercise but please be mindful, it’s not a sidewalk.
Farmers Market
It’s great to have the Farmers Market back! Everyone is being so respectful and social-distancing.
Traditions
This week is hitting me extra hard – what is supposed to be back to school season and block party season has been so changed in 2020. Looking forward to future years with community favorites.
