I love spending time at the Veterans Gardens and appreciate how this space has become a gathering spot for so many friendly community members. It is a shame that the tranquility of the Gardens is often ruined by loud music blasted toward the area from an adjacent neighbor’s back yard. It feels like the song selection is often meant to be annoying and on Monday (9/26) it included profanity and language of a sexual nature. Please neighbor, turn the music directed at the Veterans Gardens off and listen to whatever you want indoors.

Caruso

I just wanted to give a shout out to Rick Caruso for making the Pacific Palisades even better by creating the Palisades Village. The Village is so lovely and has enhanced our community. Thank you Mr. Caruso for being a visionary who seems to be able to accomplish anything. We are so lucky.

Parking

Perhaps Mr. Caruso has forgotten about the agreement he signed with “Protect Our Village”, including, but certainly not limited to: “Two hours free parking will be offered and can be obtained from a tenant or concierge. Movie theater patrons will receive validation for three hours. For Sunday farmers’ market vendors and guests, free parking will be offered from 6:00 am 1:00 pm.”

(Editor’s note: The Post received the following response after going to print Tuesday evening from a Caruso representative when asked about free parking for the farmers market for a 2 Cents submission: “Palisades Village provides one hour parking validation for guests of the Farmers Market with validations redeemed directly through the organizer of the Farmers Market. Upon the expiration of the one hour validation, prevailing rates apply.”)

Villanueva

Does Villanueva think he will win votes by littering the whole Palisades with his offensive, fake dollar bill propaganda against his opponent? I find it offensive!
