Masks
So glad the LAUSD and teacher’s union have reinstated the mask mandate at Pali. We just can’t afford to lose good teachers and students to the killer virus like before the mandate was lifted.
P.R.I.D.E. I
Thank you Palisades P.R.I.D.E. for the lovely plants in the medians at Temescal and Sunset. So much nicer than empty dirt and weeds.
P.R.I.D.E. II
Wonderful, wonderful Palisades Pride! Your new garden at the top of Temescal looks so nice. Thank you for the improvement. I hope you will maintain it too.
Parking Lot I
How many months has the parking lot at Pali Park been fenced off for resurfacing? As with the year-long closure of our library, the city clearly couldn’t care less about delivering services to the Palisades. If we lived in China, the parking lot would have been completed in a few days, tops. (Although if we lived in China, we wouldn’t be able to leave our homes to park there.)
Parking Lot II
OPEN PALI REC PARKING – Parking continues to be a nightmare. The new, much needed extra parking lot in front of the Recreation Center has been striped for the past 6 weeks; yet to no avail? What agency is authorized to remove the barricades and add final landscaping later? With PPBA and the BOCCE league games the community needs the additional parking now!
Caruso I
Palisades Village was a lost opportunity for Caruso to have shown that he cared 1) about the people of LA by offering free parking to employees, and 2) about climate change by installing solar and gray water, and banning single use plastic.
Caruso II
How can we trust Rick Caruso who promised the Palisades that all employees who work at his mall would park at his mall but instead are parked in front of our houses. The policy has never been enforced.
Thank You
To the nice folk(s) who found my e-bike keys at the park last weekend and turned them into the tennis shop… you are good people, many many thanks.
