New York
Kudos to Junior Reporter Hanna Shin! Such a well written piece with so many great options for a quick trip to NYC! As a native of NYC I was impressed and even I can’t wait to go back!
Reading I
I am a couple of chapters into “The Overstory” for this year’s Palisades Reads selection and so far, I am finding the book intriguing and enjoyable. I’m interested to see where the book goes, and then interested to hear what fellow community members think about it this September.
Reading II
As an avid reader, I was happy to see last week’s Pali Life cover with book suggestions. Adding these to my reading list, thank you for the suggestions.
Tutors
One of the things I love about this community is the vast array of different-aged people offering their services as tutors. There have been some stories in the Post, some posts on Nextdoor. There’s no shortage of helpful scholars in town.
Reporting
So disheartening to hear of reports of vandalism and robberies nearby. Let’s keep an eye out for one another and our neighbors. If you see something or suspicious behavior, please report it.
COVID
I just wanted to say that I am really happy with the way CA has been dealing with COVID lately. By requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test to attend indoor events makes me feel so much more comfortable and excited to return to concerts and sports games. The fact that these events are becoming more widely accessible and in a safe way is a win for me.
Angelini Ristorante
Angelini sounds like a good choice for Palisades Village. Let’s see how this one goes.

Editor’s note: The Post included a 2 Cents item about ballots needing an address included to be counted. The ballot needs a signature to be counted, but will be counted even if the address space is left blank. The 2 Cents item has been removed from the online version and a correction will run in next week’s paper.
