Father’s Day
Regarding the wonderful Father’s Day messages, it would be nice if Mr. Bryan Whalen would share his awesome pancake recipe, if it’s not a family secret!
PPCC
The letter regarding the homeless situation from the PPCC to the Los Angeles City Administration Officer is thoughtful and very well-written. You should be commended.
Hospitals
In response to 2 Cents in last week’s paper regarding better alternative place to house the homeless, the amount of hospitals that went bankrupt last year and are now empty would house a lot of the homeless.
Flag
To the “Karen” who flipped me off driving through the intersection at Via de la Paz & Sunset Blvd: If flying the American flag off the back of my Jeep offends you to such an extent while you enjoy all the freedoms and benefits of living in the country that flag represents, I suggest you either find a new home or seek professional help immediately.
Cinépolis
Does anybody know when Cinépolis might open? I miss watching movies in the heart of town, but also understand if it’s closed for safety reasons. I just wish they would put out an update or something.
Fourth of July
Everyone please be safe this Fourth of July: Report any illegal fireworks and have an extinguisher on hand if you can, we don’t want any more fires. Make sure your pets are safe and secure the night of, they tend to get really scared and can sometimes run away due to the fireworks.
Podcast
The Palisades Podcast is such a great addition to the Post! It’s so interesting to hear from community members in this format and for the paper to expand its content, kudos!!
Art
I love seeing the town open back up, and you know things are heading back to normal because we are seeing more and more art galleries and receptions. These are some of the things I won’t be taking for granted going forward.
Troop 223G
Amazing to read about the girls of Troop 223G! Very impressive that 12 local females achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
