Gas
If you are looking to save almost $1.00 a gallon for gas in the Palisades, try the car wash in the Ralph’s lot. Pull in and say gas only. They will pump the gas for you, take your credit card and say thank you. Full service and you don’t have to get out, plus you just saved a bunch of money.
Vaccines
So happy to hear that cases of COVID are going down and neighbors are able to schedule their vaccine appointments. Some vaccine appointments can even be made at local pharmacies like Rite-Aid! It really is a glimmer of hope in what have been dark days.
Community
The community really comes together when it’s needed most and that’s what I truly love about the Palisades. I’ve seen so many individuals volunteer their time to help those who don’t have the tools or are tech-savvy enough to schedule an appointment for the COVID vaccine. I also saw a tip that new appointments usually open up on Sunday, so just keep checking if you have had any trouble yourself.
Animals
If you have a small animal be aware, be vigilant and keep them inside when you can. There have been a lot of loose critters roaming around the Palisades that can swoop them up. Lots of coyotes, coyote packs and wild cats.
Eugene
Still loving the fact that Eugene Levy is our new honorary mayor. He does have big shoes to fill, following Billy and Janice, but I have high hopes he will excel. Fingers crossed he gets to ride in that parade this July!
TV
I have officially watched everything on all of my TV lists. Does anyone have a recommendation for something good to watch?! I am taking nominations from any and all genres at this point.
