A Marquez Charter Elementary School graduate, Trinity Rose Drummond, represented Pacific Palisades at the LA Marathon on Valentine’s Day by singing “God Bless America” in front of the 25,000 runners and Mayor Eric Garcetti.

The 13-year-old was asked to fill the role after winning the 2015 Unsigned Only Music Competition Fan Vote over 7,000 other contestants. Drummond trained with Palisadian vocal coach Beth Andersen for the competition.

Last year, Drummond released an EP album of four songs and recently released a single, “Leap of Faith” produced by Palisadian Phil Giffin. Drummond donates all her proceeds to the Union Rescue Mission to benefit homeless individuals in Los Angeles. Drummond will be performing at the Marquez Festival on April 2.
