Now that Halloween has officially come and gone, it’s time to shift the focus to the next thing: the holiday season.
Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club will host a Holiday Gift Bazaar and Bake Sale on Saturday, November 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., which also serves as a fundraiser for the club.
The sale will feature “beautiful housewares;” gold, silver, and handmade jewelry; mixed-media art; handbags, clothing, and boots; and linens, baskets, and candles, according to a flyer about the event.
“A percentage of all vendor sales will go towards PPWC’s grant program,” according to PPWC. “Our grants support nonprofit and charitable organizations in the Pacific Palisades.”
More than 35 vendors were slated to take part in the bazaar, including Vivian’s Boutique (holiday capes and faux furs), Suzanne Etienne (acrylic paintings) and Gourmet Blends (olive oil and balsamic vinegar).

There will also be “cakes and delicious bakes” as part of the fundraiser, which is being spearheaded by PPWC members Nancy Niles and Judy Grosh. There will be cakes, cookies, cupcakes, muffins, breads and more.
“We already have people baking, and many others are letting us know what they are ‘cooking’ up for the sale,” read a newsletter, “including some special occasion cakes and holiday treats.”
Festivities also include a “festive basket raffle.”
“A huge committee is hard at work planning all the details to make sure this our best holiday ‘boutique’ fundraiser ever,” PPWC wrote.
The Holiday Gift Bazaar and Bake Sale will take place PPWC’s Clubhouse, located at 901 Haverford Avenue. Admission is free.
