Randy Stoklos’ first season as head coach of the Palisades High boys volleyball team has been nothing short of superb. The Dolphins are Western League champs, and with one game remaining yesterday at University, they were a perfect 11-0.
The playoff seeding meeting takes place on Tuesday, and Palisades will likely receive a first-round bye, meaning its opening playoff game will be at home on May 7 at 7 p.m.
On Monday, the Dolphins once again barely broke a sweat, routing Hamilton in straight sets, 25-9, 25-14, 25-13. In 11 league matches this season, Pali has lost a grand total of two games.
Last Friday at Venice, the Dolphins suffered one of their two game losses, but still brushed aside the Gondoliers, 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-18. Venice is currently second in the Western League at 8-2.
