The Palisades’ newest eatery Juicy Ladies will soon be opening its doors, appealing to vegetarians and health conscience eaters from around the area.
The owners are expecting a letter of approval from the Pacific Palisades Design Review Board—which approved the project in late March—on Friday, Aug. 5, which will then be sent to the city for approval.
One of the owners, Dorene Nili told the Palisadian-Post the city approval process could be expedited to two weeks. Once that is complete construction can begin on the restaurant located at 17361 Sunset Blvd.
This is the second Juicy Ladies location, the first in Woodland Hills. Many of the customers at the initial location were Palisadians and urged the owners to consider opening a secondary location in the Palisades.
The women behind Juicy Ladies fell in love with the Sunset Boulevard property and its ocean views, but it took two years to acquire the property.

Nili said their team is excited to join the community and explained the eatery will be more of a community within itself rather than a restaurant.
A full menu will be offered with a full juice and smoothie bar, including an outdoor patio.
Depending on how long the construction takes the eatery could be open at the end of September. A grand opening event will be planned once an open date is finalized.
