A transient was arrested at the 76 gas station located at Pacific Coast Highway and Sunset Boulevard at about 8 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17. Hiyabu Hiyabu, 58, a registered sex offender, was arrested for violation of a restraining order and is being held on $50,000 bail. Hiyabu was arrested in Pacific Palisades on Aug. 3, 2015 and was sentenced to 270 days in county jail. He was released from custody on Jan. 5, according to court documents.
