Tickets are on sale now for a Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club fundraiser, which will take place September 9 from 6 to 9 p.m.
The event, which will feature an art show, a silent auction, wine and tequila tastings, food, and a DJ, will take place at Bruce Lurie Gallery, located at 873 Via De La Paz. Funds raised will go toward the organizations that PPWC supports during its annual grant awards.
“The Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club [was] established in 1925,” according to the event page. “Over the decades, the PPWC has awarded $1.5 million in grants to local organizations in education, arts and recreation, community, and other charitable groups.”
The silent auction, according to the page, will include items from The Palisades Dentists, Zimmerman, Anine Bing, Veronica Beard, David Tishbi Jewelry, diptyque, Be Rosy, Porta Via, Fahi’s Skin and Wax Bar and more.
The wine tasting will be provided by Fresh Vine Wine, based in Napa, founded by Julianne Hough and Nina Dobrev. Tequila will be from Tequila Tepozán.
Festivities at the event will include food by Blue Ribbon Sushi, as well as entertainment by DJ COMMANDR.
The event is being planned and hosted by PPWC Board Member Meryl Starr, as well as PPWC Member Molly Swing and Bruce Lurie Gallery Director Lan Guan.
Starr, who has been a Palisadian for almost two years and a member of PPWC for almost as long, said that working with the organization and planning the fundraiser is about bringing the community together: “And all the money we’re going to get is going to go back to the community.”
Tickets are available for $25 via Eventbrite. For more information, visit theppwc.org.
