The Harry Potter Film Festival continues at the Palisades Branch Library at 2 p.m. with the fifth film, ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.’ With their warning about Lord Voldemort’s return scoffed at, Harry and Dumbledore are targeted by the Wizard authorities as an authoritarian bureaucrat slowly seizes power at Hogwarts. The ending to this film is especially spectacular if not poignant. Free admission.
Calvary Church’s annual Christmas concert, 6 p.m. at the church, 701 Palisades Dr. Palisadian violinist Alexander Tseitlin will perform with members of his orchestra and singer-songwriter Travis Taylor, along with the Calvary children’s choir and adult choir.
