The Seaside Weavers, a local weaving association, will hold an opening reception for an exhibit of their work in celebration of the group’s 40th anniversary, 1 to 3 p.m. in the Palisades Branch Library community room, 861 Alma Real. The exhibit will run through August 30.

MONDAY, AUGUST 8
