As Pacific Palisades enters the New Year, traditions follow. The Palisadian-Post is looking for the first baby born to parents living in the Palisades, following a long-running tradition launched in 1954.
The tradition began with Arnold Anchordoguy, and with the exception of 1955, a new baby has been honored every year. Last year’s first arrival was Dashiell Cove Homme, who was born on Saturday, January 4, at 9:53 p.m.
The family with the baby born nearest to 12:01 a.m. on January 1 will be awarded a gift basket full of certificates from local businesses and restaurants, as well as a feature in an upcoming edition of the Post.
To enter (or to nominate a community member who has had a baby this year) email the baby’s name, as well as the date and time of birth to mypost@palipost.com.
