What the Dolphins got instead was another blowout, winning the intersectional match 15-3 behind a sweep at No. 1 doubles by reigning City Section champions Madeline Prins and Lizzie Belokonnyi, who dropped a total of five games in three sets. Twins Sophia and Ireland Amato also swept, 6-1, 6-3, 6-1, and Caroline Goldberg, Calypso Peraticos and Abby Schleichkorn all swept in singles.
On Monday, Palisades celebrated assistant coach Sam Megowen’s birthday with a shutout of Hamilton, losing two games in seven pro sets.
