Former Honorary Mayor and professional boxer Sugar Ray Leonard has listed his 16,773-square-foot Riviera estate for $51,995,000—which, if it sells at this price, will break the current record, $33.85 million, for most expensive home sold in Pacific Palisades.
“Situated behind double gates, this property offers total privacy and security and seamlessly combines modern luxury with the enchanting elegance of a grand European villa,” the listing boasts. “The entrance welcomes a beautiful ivy-covered façade, grand motor court and garage tucked off to the side.”
The main house features seven bedrooms, including a private master suite, complete with a fireplace, bath, walk-in closets and private terrace overlooking the Pacific Ocean and surrounding canyons. Also located in the main house is a large gym and media room.
The grounds offer an “exceptional resort-style setting” with patio space, landscaping, lawns, pool, spa and tennis court.
A detached, two-story guesthouse is situated adjacent to the pool and features a full kitchen, designed for poolside gatherings, as well as a second-floor guest bedroom and bathroom.
“This estate is truly an exquisite property, providing both sumptuous and serene living in a prestigious location,” the listing continues.
The home is represented by Coldwell Banker Global Luxury agent Jade Mills.
