The weather is getting nicer, the days are getting longer … summer is just around the corner, and with its arrival comes Street Food Cinema—a chance to dine on food truck fare, listen to live music and enjoy an outdoor movie screening.
This year, Street Food Cinema will kick off on Saturday, April 27, with an Opening Night 10th Anniversary showing of “500 Days of Summer” at LA State Historic Park. Music for the evening will be provided by The Flusters, with food options from Astro’s Doughnuts & Fried Chicken, Boba Ni Taco, Cousin’s Maine Lobster, Phillyfornia, White Rabbit and After’s Ice Cream.
The first Street Food Cinema show of 2019 at Will Rogers State Historic Park will be “The Wizard of Oz” 80th Anniversary screening on May 18. Palisadians can dine on Breakers Roadshow, Humble Crust Pizza, Lettuce Feast and Carmela Ice Cream. Music will be provided by The Eiffels.
Other Pacific Palisades shows this year include “Jaws” on July 6, “Mean Girls” on July 27, “Bridesmaids” on August 17, “10 Things I Hate About You” on September 7 and “Beetlejuice” on October 12.
The 2019 Street Food Cinema season closes on Saturday, October 26, with a special closing night screening that has not yet been announced.
