One of my favorite classes in second grade at St. Matthew’s Parish School is my technology class.
My technology teacher, Manny Quintero, says he “loves teaching students to be comfortable with all the tools, whether it’s a computer or an iPad, where they can create and make things.”

Recently, we have been enjoying coding and programming on the computer. My classmate Matthew Commons, 8, said what he really likes to learn is how to program games.
“I think what we did today, getting the angry bird to the pig with a code, was pretty hard,” Commons said.
My favorite part of technology class is using Wixie to create projects. Wixie is a program that lets you create art projects on the computer or any device that has Adobe Flash Player.
I am excited about all the fun things we will learn this year.
