What a difference a week made for Palisades High’s JV football team. After struggling to finish drives in their opener, the Dolphins had no such trouble against Granada Hills last Friday afternoon.
Josh Karp returned a fumble 75 yards; Roman La Scala, Saxon Wald and Jesse Ettus each ran for a score; Enzo Choi ballooned the lead to 20-0 on a 30-yard fumble return; and Braydon Sanford caught a 27-yard touchdown pass from Brett Federman. Austin Meloche ran for a pair of two-point conversions and La Scala ran for one as Coach Ray Marsden’s squad cruised, 42-8.
Kicker Kellen Ford boomed his first touchback of the year to begin the second half.
