Community Members and Pali Ambassadors to Join Together for Tea

Palisades seniors can look forward to a coed social event at Tea Honoring Seniors, hosted by Margaux Glaser and team at the Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club on Saturday, November 9.
“The whole point is to enhance their lives,” Glaser told the Palisadian-Post.
This free event for seniors will be an opportunity for local community members to gather and engage with others.
Glaser, who works as a real estate agent at Sotheby’s International Realty in the Village, said that in working with seniors and their families at her business, she noticed her older clients lit up when they were engaging in social activities.
Glaser, who is independently funding the event, selected PPWC so that those who attend the event would not have to travel far.
Palisades Ambassadors from Palisades Charter High School will be joining the event as servers and enable discussions. Students will have questions for attendees and help create a dialogue among them.
“We’re having [high school] seniors serving seniors in the community … they’re so into it,” Glaser shared about the participating Ambassadors.
Festivities will also include live music by La Faz, a talented teen trio of classical violinists Vera Fang, Layla Adeli and Sophie Zhu, who are all former members of the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra.
“I worked on the PPWC home tour and met them, and everyone enjoyed them so much, I wanted to have them play for seniors,” Glaser shared with the Post.
Glaser wants Palisades seniors to know: “We hold you in high regard, so please join us for tea, refreshments and music to celebrate you, our honored community seniors.”
The tea will take place at PPWC, located at 901 Haverford Ave., and will run from 1 to 3 p.m. RSVP at margaux.glaser@sothebyshomes.com or 310-600-7116.
