Sandra Scully, beloved wife of Dodgers’ Hall of Fame announcer and former Palisadian Vin

Scully, passed away Sunday evening at the age of 76. She had been battling ALS for several years. Born Sandra Hunt on Dec. 27, 1944 in Cascade, Virginia, she married Vin Scully in November 1973 and they have six children, 21 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Donations can be made to the Department of Neuromuscular Disease at UCLA/ALS Research in Sandra’s name. The Scullys formerly lived near Riviera Country Club and were parishioners at Corpus Christi Church. Vin and Sarah made the largest donation of all to the Field of Dreams renovation completed in 2004 at the Palisades Recreation Center and three of their grandchildren played in the PPBA.
