Technology for You! will host the next Chamber of Commerce mixer on Tuesday, August 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the outdoor lawn at the Aldersgate Retreat Center, 925 Haverford Ave.
The public is invited to enjoy hors d’oeuvres (prepared by the host’s wife, Sara Sadriech), a beverage bar and a drawing for gifts donated by Chamber members. The charge for non-members is $25.
Ramis Sadrieh, a graduate of Palisades High and UCLA (1997), started Technology for You! as a concept in business school at Pepperdine.
“When I graduated in 2003,” he said, “I decided to turn my concept into reality and got my Articles of Incorporation. I designed the business around my natural talents of fixing computers and setting them up. But over the course of the past 10 years, my services evolved to also include creating and implementing home-entertainment solutions.
“I work with most consumer electronics, including smartphones and tablets. To keep up with the latest advancements in electronics, I attend the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas every January. I have also developed relationships with several companies to provide technology solutions to my clients, including Sony and Dell.”
As his business has grown, so has Sadrieh’s personal life. He and his wife Sara now have two children, Layla, 5, and Aria, 2, and have bought a house.
Along the way, Sadrieh has also served as president of the Chamber of Commerce and the Palisades Americanism Parade Association (twice), and he’s a member of the Optimist Club.
“All in all,” Sadrieh said, “I feel blessed that my business is thriving and that I am able to work in my hometown, where my parents, Drs. Khosrow and Fatemeh, still live.”
